Baja Sunrise Shawl & Denim and Blues Cowl

I realize last month I completely forgot to mention another new pattern that I just released called the Denim and Blues Cowl. It's been causing quite a stir over at the shop. Probably because it's a great summer knit that looks awesome in all of those cottony tape yarns that are making a comeback right now.

Front view! I am really into the fringe right now. Love the western look!

The back view! Looks like a shawl, wears like a cowl! No ends!

It's shown in Fibra Natura Denims in the Stonewashed color, and I've now knit or had it knit in both Debbie Bliss Delphi and Berroco Karma, and I can definitely say it's awesome in either one! You can download your own copy in my Ravelry shop.

My green version in Berroco Karma modeled by the one and only amazing Sandy!

Next up, we have this month's Tasty Tosh $1 pattern of the month--the Baja Sunrise Shawl! This shawl uses just 2 skeins of Tosh DK, one in the Jimmy Beans Wool Tasty Tosh color of the month, Mexican Grilled Street Corn, and the other Cousteau. It mimics the suns rays over the ocean at sunrise...perfect for that Baja beach vacation I plan daily in my head. Someday...sigh.

Remember, the Baja Sunrise Shawl is just $1 until July 15th, and then it will go up to full price, so take advantage now!

In any case, I really hope you enjoy these two new designs to welcome in the summer months! I wish you all well and happy knitting!
