The color, "Joshua Tree" features shades of Mojave and Colorado Deserts - various shades of green and tan. In a squishy bulky-weight yarn, this pattern knits up quickly and easily.

After we visited Joshua Tree National Park for the first time on our recent Anniversary trip, I knew it had to be part of this year's National Park Hat's collection! The Joshua Trees for which the park is named are a type of desert dwelling plant in the Yucca family and they are so uniquely beautiful. I was immediately taken in by the amazing landscape of this park. Joshua Tree sits where the Colorado and the Mojave deserts meet creating some super unique biodiversity.

The Joshua Tree hat is a reflection of this landscape using a bulky weight, rustic yarn and a green color that is inspired by the green and beige landscape of the park.

All of our yarn is hand-dyed by my husband, Nick and I, here at the Kristen in Stitches headquarters in Reno, NV.
